Ka’ala Vista Wedding Venue is hands down one of the most incredible venues on the island of Oahu, Hawai’i. We set up a vendor tour, and we were in absolute awe of the space and mountain view. We immediately went into planning mode to showcase what an elopement could look like at the venue with some of our favorite vendors. It already was set up to be a gorgeous day, but the vibrant rainbow that appeared after the ceremony really stole the show. We can’t wait for you to see the images!

The Vibes

We love a minimal and chic style with intentional details. Because the mountain view is already such an incredible backdrop, we didn’t want to obstruct the view or take away the attention from our couple with an additional backdrop like an arch. Instead we opted stunning ground installation from Lulu’s Leis and Bouquets to anchor the ceremony site. After the ceremony and a dance under the rainbow, we moved the florals to our Peacock chair set up from our friends at Ambient Rentals. We loved the simplistic boho vibes with the focus being on Gabby & Violet.

The Day

Gabby and Violet started the day getting ready together with Reveal Hair & Makeup. Their team is completely mobile, so you are able to relax in your hotel or home without stressing about more planning logistics. Getting ready together is becoming more common in elopements and we are so here for it! Gabby and Violet sipped on mimosas while the glam squad did their thing!

A lot of couples ask how they can still incorporate a first look into their elopement day, especially when they are getting ready together. One option is to wait until the venue to change so you can still have that first look feeling. Ka’ala Vista Wedding Venue has a ton of options for photo sites and we chose a path surrounded by lush palms for the first look.
